    COE Pre Team 2015

    Know someone interested in cheerleading? Looking for an alternative to competitive cheerleading? Have a younger sibling interested in cheerleading? The Colorado Elite Pre-Team Cheerleading Program is perfect for you or your athlete.

    The Colorado Elite Pre-Team is designed for athletes from 4-14 years old, who want to learn about cheerleading in a team environment without the full time and financial commitment of competitive cheerleading. All athletes will learn cheer motions, jumps, tumbling, and stunts. Each team will put together a full routine and will end their season with a performance at a local All Star Competition.
    We offer our Pre-Team season for an all inclusive tuition of $549 or 3 payments of $200. The all inclusive tuition includes the registration fee, uniform, bow, team fees, competition fee, etc.

    Our Pre Teams season will run from September through the end of February:

    • The minis team will practice on Tuesdays from 5:00 to 6:30pm starting on Tuesday, September 2nd.

    Our objective is to provide each athlete with a positive and constructive training environment, which promotes the development of cheerleading skills as well as maturity through teamwork and competition. We believe this will result in the best cheerleaders possible . Our cheer facility is the largest of its kind in Southern Colorado and gives us a competitive edge in providing our athletes with the necessary tools to achieve their competitive goals.

    All-Star cheerleading has evolved into one of the most exciting, fast paced, and strenuous sports scored by a panel of judges in the world. All-star cheerleading is broken down into competitive levels by age and ability level. Competitive cheerleading is scored based upon the execution of tumbling, jumping, dancing, motion technique, tosses, stunting, performance and choreography. Athletes will be placed on teams based upon their abilities as well as their mental mindset.

    Open Gym is a great way to work on your skills! Our Open Gym is a fully supervised class with instructors who are available to help out with your skills, as well as full access to all of our equipment – spring floor, cheer floor, tumble tramp, and trampoline.

    Adult Open Gym 18 years and older

    Thursday 9:00pm-10:00pm

    Cost: $8 ($5 for college students with valid college ID)

    This Open Gym is for athletes or former athletes that want to get back into the gym and work on their skills.  This Open gym is for all athletes age      18 years and older.  Our Open Gym is supervised with instructors who are able to help out with your skills, or getting them back again, as well as full access to all of our facility and equipment.

    All of our Summer 2014 Drop-In Classes are only

    per class. We have the following drop in classes available for the summer of 2014:

    Beginning Tumbling Drop-In – Monday – 7:00pm-8:00pm –

    This class is for athletes at the beginning of their tumbling career. In this class, athletes will work on the basics body awareness drills, motor skills, hand – eye coordination, the basics of tumbling, as well as learning to work and take direction in a group setting. Athletes will learn and work on handstand forward rolls, backward rolls to push up or handstand position, round offs, back walk overs, standing back handsprings and round-off back handsprings.

    Intermediate Tumbling Drop-In – Tuesday – 6:00pm-7:00pm –

    This class is for any age athlete who already has their back handspring and their round-off back handspring. All athletes will be evaluated before joining this class. Athletes will work and learn skills such as their front handspring step out back handspring series, round off back handspring tuck, round off back tuck, touch-touch back handspring, standing back handspring series to tuck, and punch front.

    Advanced and Elite Tumbling Drop-In – Wednesday – 5:00pm-6:00pm –

    This class is for athletes of all ages who already have their round-off back handspring back tuck and their standing series. All athletes will be evaluated before joining this class. Athletes will work and learn skills such as, standing back handspring back tuck, standing back tuck, toe touch tuck, front punch through to round off back handspring and round off back handspring layout. Athletes who have progressed beyond Advanced Tumbling will work on learning Elite skills. Athletes have already mastered their standing tuck and a round-off back handspring layout and are starting to work on twisting. Athletes will work and learn such skills as round off back handspring full, round off back handspring double, round off back handspring full through to tuck, layout, & full, punch front through to round off back handspring tuck, layout & full, and other front bounder skills.

    Pre Team Drop-In – Tuesday – 5:00pm-6:00pm –

    This is a Beginning Cheer class where athletes work on the basic skills and body awareness of cheerleading. Some tumbling is involved, but mostly this class is about motions, dance, stunting basics, and all the little things that make Cheerleading unique. This is a fun and upbeat class designed to get Beginners excited about cheerleading!

    Also – Don’t Forget about Co-Ed Stunt Class! Now on Tuesdays – 7:00pm to 8:00pm – only 20$ to drop in!
